Repair Your Credit
It is possible to repair your credit and increase your credit score by yourself.
I, like many thousands of Americans, have a terrible credit score. How did this happen? I trusted a business partner to run my business instead of doing it myself. I borrowed money and then my business collapsed, leaving me unable to repay my debts. I let my room mates use my credit cards, they ran up debts and then vanished. I let my room mates use my store cards, and they made so many late payments. Five years ago, my credit was impeccable, and I had two Platinum cards and a credit line about equal to a year's salary. Now I have nothing. I get denied when I try to open a checking account or try to cash checks at stores. I would consider myself lucky if I could check a book out of a library without having to put down a deposit.
Have any of these things happened to you? You started out fine, and then somehow got into a bad situation? And now people don't want to deal with you because everyone nowadays checksyour credit score to see what kind of person you are?
The good news is that it is possible to repair your credit and increase your credit score. You can wait about seven to ten years for all the bad stuff to drop off your record and start over again. But there are ways to do things yourself, to remove bad information from your credit report and get some good information added. The bottom line is, your Credit Score usually determines how people will react to you financially.
In future, remember these things which I learned the hard way:
Never let someone else run your business for you, if you are the owner, it's your business, do your work.
Never borrow more money than you are certain you can repay, make sure your income will cover monthly payments.
Never let someone else use your credit cards or store cards, it's your money, and if they don't pay you back, you owe the money.
Never trust someone to pay bills, if they are late, that is reflected upon you.
Here is a Credit Repair system which might help you out of your current situation. Hopefully you would only need to use this once, if you take my advice.

As I said, within seven to ten years, all the bad stuff drops off your credit report, and you can work on building up your credit again, but if you have plans to purchase a new car, or to move into another house, a low credit score will give you trouble, so the sooner you do something about it the better.
Best wishes for the future.
